Teflon Coatings

Teflon coatings are precision applied coatings that handle the specific abrasion and environmental conditions that exist in the aerospace industry. They are typically applied at thicknesses of 0.0005”, a low coefficient of friction, and are chemically inert. Teflon coatings are used on high use and wear surfaces on such items as gears, bearings, and other heavy contact environments. They are used on both metallic and nonmetallic surfaces.
