In our constant pursuit of total customer satisfaction we are answering the call for a "one-stop" plating facility with the capability of performing every operation from green grind to afterplate grind and all the steps in between. Our grind department offers CNC, conventional, and centerless grinding as well as honing and complete inspection services.
The S33 Precision Cylindrical Grinder is the newest grinder offered by Studer, the world leader in grinding machines. This machine is equipped with a Movomatic CR100, the most reliable in process gauging in the grinding industry. It is capable of controlling part sizing to within 1 millionth of an inch, thus making it the choice for high precision grinding.
The S33 has the latest gap elimination system controlled by the Studer Sensitron System, to accommodate normal stock variations. This helps speed up grind cycle times, allowing for faster part to part grinding. The new variable speed wheel head works to eliminate abusive grinding and still maintain the integrity of the grinding process. These features along with the fine Swiss Craftsmanship make our new S33 grinders the choice for quality, production, and reliability. The machine is controlled by a Fanuc 21i/-2B that is optimally attuned to the glass scale drive system.
